
In two years of remote activities, it was the first time that the Independent Monitoring Network promoted a face-to-face event to reflect on strategies and present the group’s results.
The Pan Amazon Social Forum (FOSPA), held from July 28 to 31 in Belém do Pará, was the stage for the first face-to-face meeting of the Amazon Independent Territorial Monitoring Network. Several institutions, researchers, and leaders of social movements and indigenous, traditional, and riverine populations met on Friday (29), to discuss strategic demands.
